VDS was approached by a client who recently purchased a 20th century property in Ghana; in need of renovation and modernisation.
As well as a spacious 5 bed villa, the property had an additional 2900m2 of outdoor space; screaming for some high quality, tropical influenced garden design.
Designs should speak of the land, a reflection of local heritage and culture. So the proposal focused on sourcing local species and materials to create a tropical oasis around the house.
A large infinity pool creates a panoramic vista immediately as one steps outside the villa. This cascades down into the main garden which contains a large crescent lawn with cosy, shaded seating areas surrounded by Ghana's stunning flora.
